LEAD (Formerly Sabbath School Leadership)

Announcing a new magazine to help local church leaders plan and teach adult Sabbath Schools. The quarterly magazine is named LEAD--an acronym for Leadership, Education, Advent, Discipleship.

LEAD brings more resources to the table than the publication it replaces, Sabbath School Leadership. LEAD has two Bible studies based on the Sabbath school lesson for each week, including one that specifically addresses the 18-35 age group and the postmodern mindset.

In addition, LEAD carries two full sets of programs for adults: the standard format carried over from Sabbath School Leadership, plus A.M. Buzz, prepared for young adults and those who work closely with them. The Tool Kit section provides training for Sabbath school coordinators and the Legacy section by Julius Nam of Loma Linda Unversity brings church history alive.

Exegesis and hermeneutics sections continue to equip readers for deep Bible study so that they can be better teachers in the church and better witnesses in the community. The Hands On section addresses the tactile-kinesthetic learning mode, and "Emmaus Eyes" provides Bible study aids for the mentally challenged.

Each issue of LEAD packs in 100 pages of program scripts, teaching plans, and training to help you "lead" out in your Sabbath ministry. It’s a catalyst for helping your local church grow in evangelism, outreach, and discipleship. Four quarterly issues.
